a quick something

The deadline for CNN Heroes voting is 5AM tomorrow, I think. Anuradha Koirala, founder of Maiti Nepal, is among the top ten this year. She's reached out to more than 12,000 girls all over Nepal with her foundation. There, girls who've been subject to sexual slavery in brothels find a comfortable home among so many others like them. Koirala's foundation fights sex trafficking and rescues about 4 girls a day by patrolling borders. Take a minute and vote  here. To read more about Maiti Nepal, go here: http://www.friendsofmaitinepal.org

edit: Koirala won yesterday.

Right, and icecubephoto on Flickr has amazing astrophotography, here. That was purely tangential.

More later.
